India Wildlife Odyssey

Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi
After you arrive at Delhi International Airport, our Company representative will greet you and assist you at Airport and get you transferred to hotel. Relax and get rid of jet-lag. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Delhi is a cosmopolitan city with a flawless fusion of Old Delhi and New Delhi. Witness Old Delhi, a labyrinth of scanty and congested by-lanes and view its age old monuments, forts, gardens and museums. Then be enthralled by New Delhi, its artistic landscape, spacious streets, vivacious lifestyle and vibrant night life.

Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing
After your breakfast at hotel, the chauffeur will take you for city tour.

The whole day you'll enjoy sightseeing in Delhi and visit the places like Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Presidential House of India, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar & its monuments. These are ethereal structures with mind blowing architectural excellence, amazing calligraphy and verdant surroundings. Further, each one of them is a peep-window where you will learn history and legends of bygone eras.

In evening, you will relish the eye-appealing Light and Sound show at Red Fort in Old Delhi. The show remains closed on Monday. Or else you can go on shopping spree and shop wholeheartedly.

Day 03 : Delhi – Jaipur
After breakfast, you will check out of hotel and be driven to Jaipur. After arrival in Jaipur, you'll be transferred to hotel. After taking required relaxation, you will be taken around Jaipur city.

Jaipur, India's “Pink City” is known for its complex of countless historical monuments, forts, tombs and various other architectural wonders. Here you'll visit Badi Chopal, Choti Chopal, Jantar Mantar, and Jai Singh's Observatory. You will also get to see several magnificent palaces enriched with appealing Rajasthani arts done with intricate architecture and majestic museums.

Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 04 : Jaipur sightseeing
After you take breakfast in hotel, you will be taken on Jaipur sightseeing.

Here, you will visit first Amber Fort and will be unable to stop gazing at this monument, wondering at its mirror works, paintings, carvings, mosaics, engravings, frescoes and murals. Experience delight as you ride the highs and lows on the elephant's back to reach the fort, (Elephant Ride).

Further you will see City Palace, which is a perfect illustration of architecture, art and craft structure. It is a palace complex of Jaipur that includes Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings.

Next to it, you will visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a unique 5-storey structure that looks similar to a giant beehive. A major attraction of this structure is its 953 small windows (jharokhas) that are intricately decorated with skillfully done latticework.

Later visit Jantar Mantar, a great masterpiece of Indian architecture which displays the scientific acumen of ancient India. It is a magnanimous solar observatory that consists of 14 major geometric devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking stars' location as the earth orbits around the sun, ascertaining the declinations of planets, and determining the celestial altitudes and related ephemeris.

Day 05 : Jaipur – Ranthambore
After enjoying breakfast, you will be taken around Jaipur city for the last visit. Jaipur is famous for its colorful art and craft world. You will be more than pleased to allow yourself go on shopping spree. Till late evening, you will return to hotel and check out. Chauffeur will drive you then to Ranthambore. After approaching there, you will be transferred to hotel.

Take an appetizing dinner and retire for an overnight stay.

Day 06 and 07 : Ranthambore
After relishing a delicious morning treat in hotel, you will be taken to Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore tour will be undertaken over two days and both days after traveling you are to retire to hotel for overnight stay.

Located at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, Ranthambore National Park is a gigantic wildlife sanctuary. You will find here many structures that are reminiscence of bygone eras. These ruins are all scattered over the park thus making this animal world a unique and wonderful fusion of nature, history and wildlife. Overall the national park is a wildlife enthusiast and photographer's dream.

The park is mostly famous for it's diurnal tigers, but it also houses amphibian species and a large number of marsh crocs Reptiles. Tigers, Leopards, Striped Hyenas, Sambar deer, Chital, Nilgai, Macaques, Jackals, Sloth bears, Black bucks, Rufoustailed Hare, Indian Wild Boar, Chinkara, Common Palm Civets, Coomon Yellow Bats, Desert Cats, Five striped Palm Squirels, Indian False Vampires, Indian Flying Foxes, Common India Toad, Snub Nosed Marsh Crocodiles, Desert Monitor Lizards, Tortoise, Banded Kraits, Cobras, Common Kraits, Ganga Soft Shelled Turtles, Pythons and Russel's Vipers will make your journey around Ranthambore worthwhile. Not only for animals, the sanctuary is also famous for its birds. Some of the best locations to watch birds are Malik Talao, the Ranthambore Fort, Rajbagh Talao, Padam Talao and in the Jhalra area.

Tour in Ranthambore is done while traveling in Safari, and a Safari drive around the park will make your trip more adventurous, exciting and unforgettable.

After completing wildlife travel, you will visit Ranthambore Fort, one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan built in the 10th century by the Chauhan rulers. The monument is adorned by majestic temples, tanks, massive gates, huge walls and inbuilt Badal Mahal (the Cloud Palace). Next you will see Jogi Mahal, which is a beautiful rest house in the heart of forest overlooking the Padam Talab.

Day 08 : Ranthambore – Agra
After taking breakfast, you will check out of hotel and be driven to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, you will be transferred to hotel. After relaxation, you have your day for Agra exploration.

This day you will visit Agra Fort. Built with red sandstone and white marble, Agra Fort is a treasure house of Mughal architecture. Inside this magnanimous fort, there are remarkable palaces, embellished chambers, hospitable reception rooms and marvelous mosques. Here, you will get wonderstruck at the beauty of Pearl Mosque, Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal and Musammam Burj.

Return to hotel and savor a sumptuous dinner. Retire for an overnight stay.

Day 09 : Agra
After breakfast in hotel, you'll take an early morning visit to Taj Mahal and witness the speculative view of Taj Mahal in the time of sunrise.

Grab the opportunity for an early morning visit to Taj and view a mesmerizing sight. As you set out to witness the charm, you will see Taj in all its glory and charisma when golden rays of sun falling on the White Marble Monument burst into a prismatic arc forming all around the monument.

Return back to hotel and after relishing the delicious breakfast, set off for a full day sightseeing tour of Agra City. During your entire day, you will visit Itmad- Ud- Daula(Baby Taj), Jama Masjid, St John’s Church, Shah Jahan Park and Dayan Bag Temple.

After enjoying to full, get back to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10 : Agra – Jhansi (by train) – Khajuraho (by surface)
After having breakfast, you will check-out of hotel. Then, you will be driven to railway station and board train for your onward journey to Jhansi. Company representative will receive you at Jhansi railway station and drive you to Khajuraho.

En route from Jhansi to Khajuraho, you will visit marvelous temples of Orchha. Located at 16 kms from Jhansi, Orchha is a small hamlet arising out of hills. You'll see here many historical monuments, which still retain their pristine charm, from which you'll learn the stories & legends of war and peace, of love and destruction. It is a place famous for Bundela paintings, which are the imprints of Bundela dynasty that once ruled the area. Orchha is also a wonderful valley formed by crystal-clear waters of Betwa river that flows beautifully along its banks.

After arrival in Khajuraho, you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight stay in hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 11 : Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh
After taking an appetizing breakfast in hotel, you will be taken on Khajuraho exploration.
With the beautiful backdrop of sprawling Vindhaya mountain ranges, Khajuraho is a small town known as 'Land Of the Moon God'. Here you will see groups of Hindu & Jain temples that display a blend of breathtaking architectural styles belonging to different eras and are famous for their erotic sculptures. Khajuraho's art is a pure manifestation of philosophical essence of Indian aesthetics; it is a beautiful example of Indo-Aryan architecture.

You will return to hotel till late afternoon and check out. Then, you will be driven to Bandhavgarh and transferred to hotel.

Day 13 and 14 : Bandhavgarh
After relishing a delicious breakfast in hotel, you will be taken to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh tour will be undertaken over two days and both days after touring you are to retire to hotel for overnight stay.

Favorite spot of wildlife photographers and foremost choice of a true wildlife lover, Bandhavgarh is a huge Wildlife Sanctuary set among the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh. Not only the Tiger sightings, but the natural and archaeological splendor of the place along with the huge abundance of flora & fauna make Bandhavgarh the hot spot for tourists.

Flora like Sal, Saj, Dhaora, Tendu, Amla, Palas, Salai, Bhirra, Camar, Dhaman, Mango, Jamun and Bamboo will make you gazing at them for time immeasurable. As you drive through the grassy passages, you will view Nilgai, Chausingha and sounders of Wild Boar, as well as the occasional Jackal or Fox. You will also see rhesus macaque, black faced langur, jungle cats, hyenas, ratels, porcupines and a variety of other mammals. Important aspects of the park's fauna are reptiles, amphibians and insects generally. Bandhavgarh also attracts many migratory birds in the winter months, including the birds of prey like the steppe eagle and a variety of wildfowl

Day 15 : Bandhavgarh – Kanha
Beauty and appeal of an enchanting place like Bandhavgarh cannot be imbibed in just two days. So, after enjoying breakfast in hotel, you will set off for a final visit to Bandhavgarh.

Apart from the flourishing wildlife, the area also covers some picturesque and breathtaking places. The Bandhavgarh Fort which projects high, beautiful & fairy meadows of Chakradhara, Raj Bhera and Sehra, besides some unimaginable beautiful spots like the Climbers point, Rampur Pahari, Sita Mandap are the key for captivating tourists. Also you will never forget the mysterious and enthralling castles of Bandhavgarh caves that will display mind blowing architectural skills.

After visiting these beauty spots, you will return to hotel and check out. Further, chauffeur will drive you to Kanha and get you transferred to hotel. Take dinner and retire for an overnight stay.

Day 16 and 17 : Kanha
After relishing a delicious breakfast in hotel, you will be taken to Kanha National Park. Kanha tour will be undertaken over two days and both days after touring you are to retire to hotel for overnight stay.

Cradling a wide diversity of wildlife, the sprawling Kanha National Park has two main valleys, Halon in the east and Banjar in the west. This wildlife paradise is covered with deciduous forests, extensive grasslands, splendid meadows and sizeable plateaus.

The main wildlife attractions in the park are tiger, bison, gaur, sambhar, chital, barasingha, barking deer, black deer, black buck, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, sloth bear, jackal fox, porcupine, hyena, jungle cat, python, pea fowl, hare, monkey, mongoose, tiger, and leopard.

The birds species in the park include storks, teals, pintails, pond herons, egrets, peacock, pea fowl, jungle fowl, spur fowl, partridges, quails, ring doves, spotted parakeets, green pigeons, rock pigeons, cuckoos, papihas, rollers, bee-eater, hoopoes, drongos, warblers, kingfishers, woodpeckers, finches, orioles, owls, and fly catchers.

Day 18 : Kanha – Pench
After breakfast in hotel, you will spend you day visiting a museum. There is a magnificent museum at Kanha that exhibits attributes and activities of the park and tribal culture. Rest of this day will go for local sightseeing.

After day long visitation, you will return to hotel and proceed for check-out. Chauffeur will drive you to Pench then and get you transfer to hotel. Enjoy a lip-smacking dinner and retire for an overnight stay.

Day 19 : Pench National Park
After relishing a lavish breakfast, you will head towards Pench National park to explore through the kingdom of wild.

Nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpuda hills, Pench National park is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh. The park is adorned with the huge rolling meadows and grassy plateau, it contains forests thickened with a wide variety of tree species.

The area is integrally famous for large herds of Gaur (Indian Bison), Cheetal, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Dog, Wild Pig, Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Chousingha, Chinkara, Barking Deer, Jackal, Fox, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Porcupine etc. The other fauna present include 50 species of fishes, 10 amphibians, 30 reptiles, 45 butterflies, 54 moths and numerous other insects

There are nearly 285 species of resident and migratory birds including the Malabar Pied Hornbill, Indian Pitta, Osprey, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, White-eyed Buzzard, etc. In winter thousands of migratory waterfowl including Brahmini Duck, Pochards, Barheaded Geese, Coots, etc visit the tanks and the Pench reservoir within the Park. Pench Tiger Reserve is also among the best areas for bird watching.

After the Pench journey, you will return to hotel and retire for an overnight stay.

Day 20 : Pench - Jabalpur - Delhi (by flight)
After breakfast you will check out of hotel. Further, you will be taken to Jabalpur and transferred to hotel. After some relaxation, you will set out for Jabalpur journey.

Holding imprints of more than three majestic sovereign empires, Jabalpur is an important cultural-spiritual center and a land of breathtaking natural beauty. The place is widely known for its picturesque marble rock formations (Bhedaghat) across the banks of the river Narmada. You will be mesmerized to see Dhuandhar Waterfall, Balancing Rock, Gopal Lal Ji Maharaj Ka Mandir, Madan Mahal Fort and Water Works Khandaari Jalashay.

After day long tour, you will return to hotel and check out. Chauffeur will drive you to airport, from where you will take flight to Delhi. There at Delhi airport, our Company representative will receive you and get you transferred to hotel. Overnight stay in hotel in Delhi.

Day 21: Delhi
After breakfast in hotel, you have the day at leisure.

Delhi is a shopping paradise and a perfect place for die-hard bargainers. Chauffeur will take you to some exclusive shopping hubs, both large and small, where you can shop wholeheartedly. You can also spend your evening in dining and getting your taste-buds appeased with Delhi's lip smacking culinary delights.

After you enjoy to your fullest, you will be driven back to hotel and check out. Our representative will transfer you to Delhi international airport from where you will catch your flight to your onward destination.
